It's a wedding band with a slimmer side again wrong?
I found a custom wedding ring at a jewelry store and have not seen anything like this – platinum is of 2 mm along the front (with diamond encrusted fragments – to 1 / 4 carat), and thinner along the back. I'm worried the durability of a ring that is 2 mm. I read somewhere that the rings are thinner along the back can be poorly made (since it is a way to use less metal). When I described the style to another jeweler said it was an old-fashioned look, but I think the look of contemporary wedding bands to be very simple.
Yes, I agree …. is thinner at the back for convenience. With most of the rings well done … have often thinner backing to them for this reason. But with any ring you receive …. I would get some kind of insurance on it … right in jewelry … so if it breaks or is lost somehow you can replace it ….
