Any creative ways to sell handmade jewelry?
I like making jewelry, but I live in a third world country … so it's a bit difficult to sell handmade jewelry, as it costs a little more than mass-produced by other countries. Is there any hope for my small business? How I'll be able to sell more?
The fate of artisans, jewelry manufacturing is pathetic. Last year I took some international visitors a village where they are jewelry manufacturing clay and fired in a kiln to produce products.Since fantastic country who do not receive a fair price for their product in the local market, they were doing selling.one anguish of the visitors bought 100 sets of jewelry by paying what ever price they were happy to get quoted.Artisans price.But that visitors from South Africa said it will invest 10 times the amount paid to the jeweler to the case itself and asked the artisans to guess what would be sale price! Latter said that artisans are not aware of the value of their products, need to know about good packaging, presentation and then began marketing.We artisans to make the presentations, the rate of Trade, held in capital cities and for a period of time started to learn the tricks of the trade and some are doing now also exporting.
